How to care for your jewellery and
preserve them so you can enjoy them for years to come.
- Take off your jewellery when washing
hands or cleaning.
- Do not wear your jewellery while
playing sports, sleeping or bathing.
- Avoid direct contact with perfume,
creams, detergents or other liquids containing chemicals.
- Store your jewellery in small closed jewellery boxes when you are not using them and avoid unnecessary scratches.
Silver jewellery
Silver jewellery can become dark and dull
over time. To restore their shiny effect, use a polishing cloth and
clean them fine again. You can also contact your nearest jeweller,
who can clean them for you.
Gilt jewellery
Gilding is a
surface treatment which, over time and with use, wears away. Gilded jewellery
do not tolerate any kind of chemicals (such as soaps, perfumes, etc.)
on the surface over time. Therefore, make sure to follow our instructions to
best care of your gold-plated jewellery.
Pearls and stones
Jewellery with pearls and stones do not tolerate any chemicals (such as soaps, perfumes, etc.) The jewellery may become dull and lose their clarity. In this case, it is advisable to clean the jewellery with lukewarm water. If necessary, add a drop of neutral detergent.
